Forgive me asking mate, but I asume the pilot in the real aircraft had the ability to re-size the reticle to set it at 200.. but we can't do that manualy in game..

This was the one I was waiting for, but... isn't there any way of doing this reticle respecting the original side? Oh, please, do it.

Mhm... You still lost alpha channel. I don't know that we need, but in original *tga's is alpha channel.

Thanks I like these new Reticles. Once I installed them I got the idea to add them to the
P-51d(K14) so so I renamed the files then I decided to add the reticl1 mat and tga files
from the Spitfire gyro sight which gave me the btightened effect on my P-51 gyro sight.

Trooper117,
Yes the pilot set the range on the sight. It is adjustable in the game on the K-14. I wish somone would apply that to allow incremental adjustments on the N9 sight. I'm sure it can be done, I just don't know enough to do it.
Sorry Trooper, I was wrong about the adjustment on the gunsight. See Coster's post on page 3 here. Catahoulak9
mayestdo,
Sure I'll do the original size and post it later. Look for Reticle_US_N9_100m in the first post on this thread.
ranwers,
The first tga's were in RGB Color mode. The new set I changed to Indexed Color to reduce their size a little. If you open them in Photoshop and change from indexed color to RGB color you get the red, green, blue, and alpha channel back. By the way, I truly admire your work, especially the Spit. Many thanks.
gbollin,
Hot Damn! Can't wait to try this. I hope it works for the P-47 too.
Naval Aviators,
Soon. Very soon.

Try this one for your P-51D(K14) gbollin.

I used the 100m size reticle and worked on the Reticle1.tga files a little to get a better color and intensity match. I think it looks a lot better now. I haven't tried the P-80 but I'm sure it will work on all K-14 sight planes.
To adapt the K-14's ability to turn the reticle on and off and resize it for different ranges on the N9 sight would be a worthy project for someone to take on. I afraid that's beyond my abilities but surely not that difficult for some of the mod wizards here.

Thanks they look great. I found the cockpit file to use for the P-80 and I added it to that also.
I made a file folder called US_K14sights added the 3do file folder and the cokpit file folder
containing P-51-D20(K14), P-47D-25 and the YP-80 folders Iadded the files you provideded
and they worked great for all three planes. One thing I niticed is that the P-47D is missing
the reflector glass in the sight but that is problem from the origional Mod for the P-47.
